Case Law Pointing to Evidence Lifecycle Management (ELM) as a Standard for Early Try vs. Settle Analysis

An interactive session with eDiscovery counsel and ELM technology experts leading discussions around how to align case assessment with the preservation, collection and search of computer evidence to accurately make decisions at the onset of the litigation, investigation, and insurance claims process. Case law continues to give clients, counsel, and their insurers much precedent as it relates to assessing computer evidence to more accurately analyze claims early in order to make "Try vs. Settle" decisions for each case. In claims and case assessment, the data analysis must be as rapid as possible to mitigate the loss and increase the likelihood of identifying the issue(s). Court decisions validating the Evidence Lifecycle Management process are brought to light.

Technology advancements are replacing traditional forensic technologies and electronic discovery cost and business disruption burdens with preservation management, case assessment, Meet & Confer Readiness and ESI Production in an iterative ELM process and platform, providing best evidence process technologies at a fraction of the cost of traditional eDiscovery technologies. This interactive forum will examine the how legal requirements, litigation economics, and technology advancements are intertwined.
